    So I thought you were a troll for sure so I went to the att site myself and looked up packages and deal and sure enough they have a refurb bold for free with 2 year contract. Kinda pisses me off bec I got the curve like 2 months ago for $80. GRRR!

    Nothing wrong with a refurb. they carry a full factory warranty.

    UK carriers are way more generous than US when it comes to giving away handsets for free. Most high end phones (Bold included) are free on �35pm contract.

    Actually refurbs only carry a 90 day warranty, not a full factory warranty.

    I just upgraded a month ago to my Bold. This truly bites. I would have definitely gone for this deal. I paid for mine and now can't black it out without voiding the year warranty..

    Could have got it free and not had to worry about the warranty.
