    I recently started getting an error message when attempting to sync my blackberry to my PC, outlook calander. The process starts but during the process of "reading from microsoft outlook calendar I get a Blackberry Desktop Manager message indicating:
    "Blackberry Desktop Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
    I've reloaded desktop manager but am seeing the same error message. oddly, it did work once yesterday but since has not been able to complete the sync problem again.
    Any ideas?

    I am having the same problem. It worked fine yesterday, but today I get a "0x8004fd28 Check documentation" Error.

    i would first try an updated version of dm. if that doesnt work try it on a diff comp if youre able 2

    Problem
    During a wired synchronization of the BlackBerry smartphone Address Book, the following error message is received:

    Error Encountered 0x80040FB3, Check Documentation

    Cause
    One or more contacts in the Address Book is missing information or has invalid characters in the First, Last or Company Name fields.

    Resolution
    Locate the Address Book contacts that contain incorrect information or are missing information.
    Correct the information or remove the contact.
    If you cannot locate the incorrect contact, turn on advanced synchronization logging. For more information on turning on advanced synchronization logging, see KB01451.
