do you need real time always in sync?

or a daily manual sync is allowable?

What back end technologies are you using? gmail? Outlook? hotmail?

    I'll be using gmail.

If it could sync in real time that would be great.

I am sorry, I have yet to find a solution for syncing gmail contacts/calendar effectively so I never gave you an answer.

The Google Sync app works great. Get it from m.google.com and you can sync all your contacts as well as all your calendars (not just the main calendar). You can control the sync settings and I think it will work perfectly for your situation.

If both are hooked to your gmail account via activesync setup, then both will be in complete sync in realtime. Google how to configure gmail through activesync and complete that on the iPhone. For the BB, you will need to install Google Sync, which worked well for me. That should completely solve your problem.
