I normally use an iphone 3g but i wanted to switch it up so i started using my dads old blackberry. everything works fine except that i cannot connect to internet. the browser application does not even show up in my applications.
Do i have to have a blackberry plan even though i have an iphone plan to connect to the internet?

Yes, your account MUST be provisioned for a Blackberry. The data provisioning on BBs is completely different then all other phones.
