Hey
recently I was trying to help my friend update her phone but I had no idea that it would change to the new stupid menu setup. She is going to try it out for a few days but incase she doesnt like it can anyone tell me the easiest way to switch back.
Her phone is a Blackberry Curve 9300 with Virgin Mobile.
I used blackberry desktop software to update it.

Same idea as upgrading but you will need to install OS5 on the PC.

Yup plug it into the pc and look for updates, it will tell you none are available and there will be a tab on the bottom that will say see other versions. Os5 will be in there.

If you don't want to go through the reinstalling the os you can always just find an os5 style theme here on cb.

Just be aware that if they want to go back to os6 that the phone will have to have a data plan to be able to upgrade back to 6.
