Hi members,
i have a Bold 9700 with "telco A"
if i get a new Curve from "telco B", can i then use my Bold9700 with "telco B" sim card, and new Curve with my existing "telco A" sim card?
I understand there is this IMEI and PIN thing associated with each bb handset, will it be a problem?
Do i need to perform the following?
A) Back up my Bold9700 using BB Desktop Mananger.
B) Insert new "telco B" sim card into Bold9700
C) Hit "Retore"
Will the above help me transfer the "service book" accordingly?

YES you can do that..
as long as both handsets are unlocked/open line.
You need to set up your BIS ( blackberry internet service) with each phone either on the internet or by calling the Carrier..

I understand the PIN is hardcoded onto each phone, how do i retain my PIN (for BBM)?

unfortunately you can't retain your PIN.
the PIN is unique to the Phone and non-transferrable
