streaming mp3s
Well I just got a new stereo receiver (sony mex-bt2700) and it has bluetooth capabilities. Pairing was pretty simple and I was playing music within a minute or so. Only problem is I can hear a faint hissing noise in the background. Its more noticable as you turn up the volume. I dont have this problem playing from cds so I'm pretty sure its the BT.
Any tips?

Bluetooth is a radio wave so that could very well be the problem (crank your FM radio and you will hear static). However I think it is not the bluetooth. The same problem occurs with any mp3 player (I'm assuming you're streaming mp3's - whether from phone or mp3 player). Mp3 is a lower quality music format than what is found on a CD, hence the hissing. My guess is your BT is just fine.

Turn the volume of the phone up to maximum and then adjust the volume of your audio system to your liking.
