Meanwhile, what could BBMo do to keep up interest and confidence in the brand?

Right now, the only visible thing I see are tutorials related to Blackberry Apps on Twitter and other social media.

Apart from that, I'd be inclined to bring out another colour variation in the LE and Key2 with perhaps a small bump in memory. Just to make some media noise to cover the next 6 - 10 months or whenever.

The launch of Key2 s in Phonehouse in Spain suggests an on-going future.

Pretty sure that'd do not an ounce of good as they failed w/LE Atomic/Champagne (not available at launch nor in every market. Similar happened w/KEY2 Red plus there appears to have been limited stock, hence availability severely lacking. So going by BBMo's history I'm doubting "third time is the charm" if they were to do anything of the sorts.

Not a big fan of just throwing out a collectable color option late in the product cycle.

Do think something should have been possible... A Pro Key2, or one of the "dream" devices... Curve, Passport, Priv.

Bingo! If scarcity is the flavour of the day, then PIE would at least excite existing customers who have already supported the brand. Plus, if, and it's a big if, there is more stock being produced, then PIE would definately help move units. I know, big IF!!!

Apple does six-year updates.
Perhaps a Key2 S with a bump in specs and a new colour would get us through to the Key3 at the MWC?
