yet, everytime i call and ask about the release of the BB Javelin/8900, available from T- Mobile Germany, England etc, they've never even heard of it, don't know what i'm talking about, like i invented the new BB and model number out of thin air. Like they're living under a fat technology deflecting rock...
All this to say that reps, especially phone reps as they're not looking u in the eye, are dirty liars who don't know squat...
It's not that we don't have the info- it's just that we only tell secrets to customers who are nice and pleasant to talk to. Maybe instead of bein a ***** to us, you should try being nice. We might actually help ya out.

Ya know not everybody, (including rep's) are Blackberry fanatics. A lot of people consider it just a PHONE And do not know, nor give a big greasy turd what the next model is. They just want to do their 8 hours hoping you call less than 5 times during their shift, and go home.

I realize that the knowledge and opinions of TMo reps at their stores isn't exactly reliable, but having talked to a half dozen different reps at almost as many stores, every one of them said the Storm (or some variant thereof) is coming to TMo in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 09...

I'll believe it when I see it, but since I'm not due for an upgrade until March anyways, I might as well wait and continue to enjoy my 8820...

Well.. this is all speculation, but i am pretty sure that Verizon has a lock on the Storm for life. That means that we (T-Mo) will get a Storm Varient, most likely with WiFi since that is mostly t-mobile's claim to fame...

Just an opinion... but a co-worker got jealouse of my storm and called t-mobile and the rep said something about T-Mo waiting 90 days before they can release...

I got to play with a friend's storm the other day - set up his email and browser. Also did some media file management. Had it about an hour and while it was an interesting experience, it wasn't all the great. I like my curve much better - and my friend seemed more than a little interested in my curve.

I'm going to pass on the touch screen because IMO a real keyboard is easier to use with speed. I like the curve, and am happy to use it until the 8900 shows up. Then on to the Bold when it finally gets to T-Mo US. T-Mo may not have the best reception some places, but I have great reception in the Denver area, and I live in the sticks about 33 miles out of town.

I also can't say enough about how well it works with my home WiFi network. UMA calling saves tons of minutes and I'm about $15 less a month than my friend with a Storm for the exact same options. Not criticizing anyone else, just saying my experience with T-Mo has been good.

Have had TMO for years and years. Couldn't resist Storm. Got one and signed up for Verizon. Lasted ONE day. Can't type worth a hoot on it. Plus Verizon's 3G not any better at all than Tmobile's EDGE. Apparently it's not all in the bandwidth. Bottom line - be sure you can take it back. Every email became an effort. Kept my old TMO account active and I kept sticking the storm back in my pocket and using my old TMO blackberry. Plus the Storm weighs a ton!

I tried a storm and a bold and honestly in most situations my curve is just as fast. Especially with WiFi. I think Im waiting for Curve 2, it really is tough to beat the Curve. The storm felt gimmicky IMO, surprised people are excited about it.

I have heard from several different people (including 3 in this forum alone) that the storm or a "touch screen" BB is coming to TMO in each quarter of the year.. no one has a specific quarter nailed down so I will believe that its coming to TMO when it actually happens! Im happy with my BB now but I have been looking into the storm and have been thinkin about upgrading so I guess I will wait since I love TMO.
