I know, I know, there are several posts on several websites out there about flashing the Verizon Storm (or S2 to the Sprint network. BUT i have found no definitive answers.

I get the whole SIM card deal, but Sprint nor Verizon (i believe) use SIM cards on their phones. So... since they are both CDMA carriers, and Maggie from cNet said that CMDA phones can be flashed and work on other carriers.

Also, you can flash Metro to Sprint and vice versa!

With all that said, where does the flashing stand? Can it be done successfully?

A CDMA phone can be flashed for a carrier. However, Sprint and Verizon do not allow this. They will not import a Boost or Virgin Mobile phone to the Sprint network. They definitely will not import a Verizon device. Generally, people will take a Sprint or Verizon phone and put it on a discount, PAYG carrier, but not vice-versa.
