It's the S9's. They have great sound, but a terrible antenna, one that is placed at the very back of your head. I used to have Samsung BT headphones and they worked fine with the Storm in my belt holster. I MUST wear the Storm on my arm with the S9's and I don't dare turn my head. What really sucks is that I can have the phone right in front of my face and the signal still breaks. Too bad because the headphones are otherwise excellent, IMO. Maybe the S9 HD's are better?

my s9 hd's work out of my holster or pocket. No problems. As a matter of fact I sometimes set the storm down on the couhc and walk away on accident and it takes about 10 or so feet for them to cut out.

x3, I have to keep my phone in my tailbag on my bike otherwise it is unusable. However, paired with my iTouch, it works great in my pocket or my tank bag

I agree. These work great on the ipod touch. The storm, not so great. with the storm, I can have it sitting right in front of me, and if I turn my head can lose the signal. If you have the back of your head facing the storm, you can do ok. With the Ipod touch, works a lot better. I can put it under my shirt, in pant pockets and it works. So, I guess I will be using my ipod touch for the gym. I cant imagine the storm working good while working out.

So, if you are wanting to use these with the storm, I would pass. I have the s9-HD, the newer ones, and I would still pass, no changes from previous post...

And on a side note, the s9-hd sound is very good.

I have the s9-hd and a Storm, and I have a clip holster that I attach the Storm to my shorts while I work out, and I have not had any cutout sound issues. They work great. I had the regular s9's setup this way also and did not have an issue with them either. I have not used either headphone away from my Storm for any significant distance (5-10ft or more), so I can't help in that regard, but the Storm is great for working out with those headphones no doubt with the Storm holstered at your hip. And the s9-hd sounds so much better than the regular s9 for music alone and then with phone calls since the phone call goes through both earphones on the hd version, only one ear in the regular version.

It IS NOT the S9's... it's the Bluetooth on the Blackberry... This video is using an altec lansing bluetooth stereo headphone. but my s9's do the same damn thing.

Kicker is... both BT headphones work PERFECTLY on my sons LG TOUCH phone, to a distance of about 20 feet...

What's this telling you... it's the storm...

and YES, when it does work, the sound is EXCELLENT!

I have been trying to get this fixed since I bought my S9-HD's. To no avail. So I bought the Altec Lansing Backbeat 903's and it's the exact same deal. Bogus bluetooth transmitter on the storm...

I've had no problems with my S9's or S9-HD's with my Storm...though they are much better with my MacBook Pro.

My S9-HD headset cuts out with my Storm AND my iTouch. If I'm wearing thick jeans and have the device in my pocket or if I have the microwave on they will cut out intermittently...

Interesting, some folks are having problems with the Storm end and some are having problems with the S9 end of the connection. All I know is that I did not have this problem with the larger Samsung heeadphones I had. Also, since others have mentioned the iTouch, I do have an iPod Classic with a Motorola BT adapter and have the same problem, FWIW.

I have had the same problems with both headsets, only though when I am in a heavily populated area, where I think there is a lot of interference or alot of other phones running blue tooth.

Indoors I have no problem with my S9. Outdoors, the phone has to be in my left back pocket or I get regular signal interruptions.

It's quirky. I still like the sound on S9 - but people hate it if I try to use it for a phone call.
