    If I were to purchase a Storm from ebay and unlock it or purchase an already unlocked one could I then get it activated on my Alltel plan?

    Unlocking only applies to the GSM bands which are SIM based, the CDMA part isn't SIM based and won't work unless Alltel/Verizon will allow the device on the Alltel network.

    Port your number to VZW if you're within 3 months of your contract end date. ETF will be credited.

    Then you can get the Storm and a VZW plan!
