I am trying to find out what will and will NOT work wifi on the storm 2.

1) Will I be able to make and recieve phone calls in a dead to weak signal area?
2) Will I be able to send and recieve SMS/MMS Text Messages?
3) Will BES still work?
4) Will BBM Still work?
5) Will Other apps like Facebook, Twitter, Bloomberg, etc. work?

That is Great the Verizon Store rep said I will be able to make calls with WiFi That is why they put it in there he said. Basterds

you cannot make calls using wifi but you can make calls when you are using wifi for BBM, email, messaging or surfing the web.

1. You cannot use wifi to make or receive calls (yet). You can however be surfing on the web, using bbm, or anything else that uses the wifi to connect to the BIS/BES server.
2. Are you positive about this?
