Applications -> Media -> Access the Full Menu and Select Explore -> Device Memory -> Navigate to the file you want -> Access Full Menu and Select Move (or Copy) -> Navigate to your SD Card location and complete the move.

4gb should be enough or you can get an 8gb and wait for the 4.3/4.5 OS to be released to be able to take full advantage of the card.
