I appologize if this has been asked and answerd already, but I could not find it.
Lately I have needed to dial phone numbers that are words, for example (555-FOOD). Is there an app that I can get to show me a "standard" phone keyboard?

Just hold down the ALT key and dial the letters. The phone will know what to do. You don't need an app.

What happens if you're in a call and you need to do this? I've never thought about it before, but some government offices require you to type in your name or a password or something.
