Nexux back door: How can we be sure Google would block it? Perhaps Google chose Huawei so they can it and claim ignorance.
Now it should be clear that the "Cheap Chineesium Phone" is not the equal of the DTEK60.....
Incidentally if you dig into the company responsible for this you will find that isn't their first offense either. It's rather interesting that the article doesn't mention that....
I had written about the problems of using Chinese made phones several times in these forums
The problem also applies to the ones that BlackBerry has outsourced or plans to outsource the design for.
If you don't design the hardware you cannot secure the phone just with software. Even Chen mentioned that several times in the first months of his tenure at BlackBerry.
He seems to have forgotten that now for whatever reason.
