    I recently installed the latest version (2.0) of Gmaps on my Sprint BB 8830. I have discovered that the new version does not perform as well as the previous version which I believe was 1.6.1 or 1.6.2. Does anyone know of a way to retrieve the previous version of Gmaps? I purchased my phone in September of 2007 and downloaded Gmaps during this time.

    Slightly off-topic, is there any particular reason you want to use Google Maps?

    Nav4All (which is also free) is by far a better GPS application...

    From a previous post of mine:

    "Nav4all by Nav4All - 8.0.66
    * Computer and OTA: http:// www . nav4all . com
    * Computer and OTA (clickable): Nav4All - Free gps navigation for your mobile phone!
    With maps that are typically updated daily, Nav4All brings advanced GPS (global positioning system) navigation to your BlackBerry device, complete with audio feedback/navigation and many of the advanced features found in a stand-alone GPS system; supports built-in and seperate (eg. Bluetooth) GPS receivers."

    Google Maps does NOT offer navigation or voice feedback, like Nav4All...

    The previous version of Gmaps that I had installed had navigation enabled. Gmaps is easier for me to work with than Nav4all and has a great diaplay.
