What are you talking about confusing UI? After 30 seconds of being shown it's easy peasy.

for smart geeks its easy, may takes even less than 30 seconds to understand it. but swipes and no-button operations are not common and not all people are geeks or enthusiast. nokia meego and webos are very similar, damn easy and intuitive to use, but not accepted by the market. maybe too advanced?
I don't know. How did all of these people learn how to use a home button? Wasn't that new and different at one time. I guess if people can't learn something new every platform should stay as is and never change.

You got it. Would you like teeth marks with that? :D
I detest brushed metal. Give me black or give me nothing. In the same vein I had considered buying an Apple Mac but when they switched from a choice of white or black to brushed aluminum / brushed metal I decided against it. As for a BlackBerry smartphone if they ever go to brushed metal only they will have lost any future sales to me. What is the lifespan of a BlackBerry smartphone anyway?
i guess you don't like the bold 9900? brushed aluminum trim with a carbon fiber like battery and flat black back. you're truly missing out on a great feeling phone
While I prefer a black device for my work BB, I would jump on a red, white, or even a blue BB....I've seen the Samsung Galaxy III in blue and it is gorgeous. And I was playing around with a Lumia (next possible non BB device??????) and I LOVED that blue.
Yeah, I know what you're getting at. I'd prefer a wireless solution, though, like that WD Passport drive that devices can connect with over WiFi...
Sorry, I have not read all of the posts. OP, this is great news.
Now, to bring some revenue into RIM's bare coffers, BBOS 10 unlocked phones should be sold, ASAP, from BlackBerry's main website with beta BBOS 10 installed in the phone so us, CrackBerry fanboys, can support RIM. New OS updates should be available every 6 weeks. Of course, we would provide feedback for changes.
After all, isn't this Google's business model: Android OS beta releases since 1.5? It works for Android. lets work on it for us.
The end results for the general consumer is a very well tested and finished product in Oct, Nov, Dec. or whenever RIM releases the superphone.
