Gmail has excellent spam blocking. I've been using my Gmail account for 2 years already and not a single spam message has come through, but I used to get hundreds of spam messages in just one day with Hotmail :/

I'm using Antair also and it stops all my spam mail, except blank ones (no subject and no message body).
I have my strength set at 9. I also have gmail.com, aol.com, aim.com, hotmail.com, msn.com and yahoo.com set in my domain blacklist. That stops the majority. Having my strength set at 9 takes care of the rest.
Then, to let the valid email through from the domains I have blacklisted, I set them up in my contacts, which automatically address whitelists them.
Because I've had the same primary email address for the last 8 years, I don't want a disposable address or a hotmail/gmail/etc. address, so I've had to live with the spam. Now, with the Antair Spam filter, I don't need to live with the spam. Works perfect for me.

You can forward all your emails to a Gmail account and then setup your BlackBerry to connect to your Gmail account. This will spam 99,9% of spam but of course your emails will also be stored at Google and you will only be able to send emails from the Gmail address.
But believe me, the spam problem will be solved.

I have messages my web host deems spam marked as such, meaning the word spam is in the subject. Then I set up a filter in BIS that blocks the sending of all messages with the word spam in the subject to my BB. On my PC, Outlook puts them in the junk mail folder so I can review them just in case something is mismarked.
