Sorry fellas gals.. No Storm 3 LTE is coming to VZW by Mid year. VZW at CES introduced all of their LTE phones already. Im in the audience now typing from my phone..

Droid Bionic, LG revolution, HTC Thunderbolt and unnamed Samsung phone.. This is all 4g phones relasing through midyear

UPDATE: Let me clarify this is for 4g LTE phones. So yea VZW could still release storm3 but it wont be 4g. Let see what Rim says on this saturday

RIM wasn't planing on making the S3 LTE... Are we getting anything at all?????
Even an OS6 S3 right now will suffice ...

NO STORM 3 OR IPHONE.. I think Apple want to wait until VZW 4g network is complete

Now these are the 4g smartphones through midyear.

Doesnt matter.. They can announce anything but VZW control what phones are released and when and vzw just did that.

Now remeber I'mm speaking of 4g LTE phones..

So yea VZw could release another 3g storm soon

No new phones will be announced by RIM at CES. How do I know? Well all the phones that were "announced" at CES we have already seen pics or spec sheets on. We haven't seen one shred of evidence of a Sprint Torch or Storm 3. Now regarding the Iphone. Do you think Apple would share the stage at CES with these other manufacturers? Heck no. When the Verizon Iphone is announced it will have it's own day. I'm betting on March.

I hope that we are not forced into LTE. That grass is not more green than 3G. A 3G Storm that can function better than anything on the BB market would be great. IMHO LTE/4G is or will be a sham for at least a year if not more.

We've got 7 BB users in the family and 3 of them want to go to the iphone..... i sure wish RIM would get in gear and put out something that competes with the iphone...!!!
