I have the gmail app on my Bold and I have my personal and work email going though it. Works great. But when I get an email with an attachment I can't save it in the gmail app. Why? I guess gmail doesn't offer it.
So I try to forward it to my att.blackberry.net account so I can save it but it never shows up, it is automatically forwarded to my gmail account. I NEVER set it up to forward. I can't find a way to stop it from forwarding.
I forward things all the time from the gmail app to my blackberry.net address. From the information you have given, the only thing I can think of is that you aren't forwarding it to the correct address...
Correct address, I just went to the ATT blackberry set up page and looked under all the setting and under the filters tab, I have no filters selected. Below that it says
When no filters apply:
Forward messages to device
Do not forward messages to device-selected
I had to switch to forward message to device. I have never seen this page before and have never changed this setting.
Is your att.blackberry.net address setup as an account in your Gmail settings? If so, email sent to that address from your Gmail account won't actually go anywhere, since Gmail sees that address as being "itself". These messages will immediately appear in your Gmail inbox.
