Someone is going to be financially crippled as a result of that soon and for the people who buy, will you ever learn to use a search engine???

If you guys want the 4.5 OS, just google it. It's out there if you just look hard enough. Took me 5 min. of searching to find it.

Doubtful because it would be free from all the carriers! Ask him what build it is........

39 dollars, probably won't financially cripple anyone too severely.

Hi guys. It's not even .18. I paid for it and downloaded it. It's .10 geez. I already had .18 and was thinking I was getting the RTM as it said so on the auction. I'll be leaving negative feedback.

Another saying is nothing ventured, nothing gained, ask Kevin and his 9000 about that.

    Apples and Oranges.

Totally agree there. 4.5.0.18 is readily available, from MANY sources. That basically would be like paying someone to unlock the iPhone. The ziphone.org program is available many places, yet people still try to sell it on ebay.

The 9000 on the other hand, is NOT available ANYWHERE, no matter what, no amount of googling can turn it up for free.

So, to take the chance on that, and roll the dice,( although a paypal dispute would be very easy, if not received) to get something that only a few people have even touched, was a VERY simple choice to make.

I wasn't near a PC, but believe me, i would most definitely have clicked the buy it now button...

Although, i was not at all suprised, i would have expected it to be for sale, a month or more ago, when it first hit.

It's apples and apples, risk $39 to get a finalized OS a month or more early, risk some benjamins to get a BB a few months early. Different stakes. But that's the nice thing about the addiction, sometimes you get it before most, never know if you don't try.

hey guys. I understand what you're saying. In my own defense, the auction said it was a RTM version of the software and not the beta. Otherwise, I would not have spent a nickel on it. Like many, been waiting months for the new os. Patience has never been a strong point of mine. So, it wasn't $39.00, it was $10.00 us money (4.99# in UK).

I'm sorry, but paying for an OS which will be free, and is readily free on onthe sites? Ridiculous.. I want to smack somebody.. What happened to the good old days of FREE cracked software, and FREE leaked programs?! What is the world coming to???
