How do you do a soft reset (equivalent to a battery pull but without actually doing it) on OS6?

I used to be able to do ALT + right CAP + DEL on OS5... but it doesn't seem to be working on the 6

It is the same on OS 6 as on OS 5. Alt+right shift+del.

Thanks lol i dont know why the first 4-5 times i tried it it didnt work even after holding it for as long as 10-15 seconds

tried it again and it worked after 4-5 seconds ..

You should not need to hold the keys down for that long. I just rebooted after updating the OS with the three-finger salute, and I only had to hold them down momentarily. It does take about a half to one second for it to start shutting down.
