    I am not sure where to put this. I have the soft reset app on my 8130/4.5.0.77. I have had no problems until today. When I try to do a soft reset I get unexplained java.lang error. I have tried a battery pull and that did not fix things. Any suggestions?

    If I remember correctly soft reset doesn't work with 4.5.

    It's not suppose to but it has worked fine on my 4.5 devices. Try deleting and reinstalling it.

    It has with mine until today. 4.5 is not new on my phone.

    Its probably not much help but I havent had any issues with 4.5 and soft reset. if you need a link let me know and I will find it for you

    That's the problem. Geek and proud has taken it down. What you can try is back it up. how-back-up-3rd-party-applications Then delete it and reinstall. First just let app loader take it out and replace it. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

    I also have 4.5 and soft reset. Most of the time it works. But a couple of times I got an error that I chalked up to maybe having accidentally hitting the reboot later button. Now I don't remember the message but it gave instructions about needing to delete something in the options. Sorry about the vagueness but maybe this will jog someone elses memory.

    I have never had a problem with soft reset with 4.5.0.81 or 4.5.0.93,but I'd unistall and reinstall. Heres the link I used
