has anyone come across soft reset that will work with 4.5?
thanks. i found the option and its back to normal.
is there a answer to my original question?
Soft reset is back with 4.5.0.69. Not positive for 8100, but I do know it works for 83xx
I have 4.5 on my 8130 and SoftReset worked with it... *tests* Yep. It works. I didn't even reinstall or anything.
it says on the website for soft reset that it does not work with 4.5.
A lot are mentioned in the following thread...
http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/batt...e-reset-59836/
I only battery pull though.
softreset worked for the first 2 days with 4.5 for me also, then I started getting a java argument error., and game over.
Other than a battery pull, softreset is tour only options on a pearl for a reset.
There is a version of soft reset that works on 4.5 posted in the 3rd party software section I believe.

I'm pushing day 3 now and it still works. *shrug*
I have softreset for my 8310 and running 4.5.0.55 I followed the instructions from a thread under 3rd party apps.
alt-rt cap-del works on my 8310 with 4.5.0.55
yes but i have a 8100 pearl not a curve.
