Haha, I don't know, but the new announcment does have me thinking about upgrading to the Storm. I just got my Curve, but its within the 30 days. I just wonder if they'll have special stuff from the tour available only to Storm users. I love my Curve though. U2 is my favorite band, so I'm happy to see this new partnership between my favorite band and my new love of the Blackberry.

They may or may not have something special for the Storm. But I doubt it. Why wouldn't they do something for the bold as well though? I can't see them doing something for one phone that is limited to certain carriers. That could be seen as RIM or U2 supporting that specific carrier because of phone exclusivity.
yea i really hope RIM does not take part in a U2 special edition like apple did. i was considering buying the U2 ipod because i loved the black and red look but decided i couldnt support bono. so i just went with black
I think I heard about something like this, pretty much the same phone except Bono supplies his voice for the voice command prompt and "Please enter your password, and then press pound" for the voicemail.

Out of all honesty, if this is true, then I'll show other people and claim Bono is my *****

Why the hate? The guy does more good things than most celebrities.
I think a U2 edition of a blackberry would be just as stupid as the iPod one was. Granted, I don't like U2 in the first place, but why would I want an iPod branded by one band? It's for ALL my music. And what does U2 have to do with a smart phone anyway?!

good for him...doesnt mean he needs to be on a smartphone because he is better than "most celebrities".....G.W.Bush gave more aid to africa than any other president, would you give him a phone to put a face on?
