I used Google Maps. Never got charged with that one.
are you talking gps or Nav? Google maps and bing are good for gps...
I mean Navigation. Goes google maps use the actual gps module or triangulation?
Both, that's why it works on non-GPS phones. It'll give you a rough fix on cell triangulation and to 3metres as the GPS data builds up. Really great app, but you must have an unlimited data plan or the phone bill will hurt.
if you want to use the blackberry maps application which is on your phone (hidden by at&t's software however) get quicklaunch or shortcutme(my preference) and it will pop up no problem and works very well.
I'm holding out for Google Navigation to come to other devices. I'd even shell out a one-time fee for it.
