    I am getting the Q10 from BB. However, rather than preorder it online, I usually call my local Verizon guy(Premier Retailer, not a Verizon owned Store) and give him the order. He is a nice guy and I like to give him the business directly. The weird thing is that he was not aware that the Q10 went up on preorder today. I asked him about it and he told me that Verizon has not said a word to him about it.

    I virtually don't understand this. How can Verizon not inform their retailers about the phones up for sale? What sort of marketing is that? My guy did say that sometimes Verizon will inform them for certain pieces of equipment. Perhaps BB is simply not a priority for them? And Verizon does not bother to do any real marketing out to the retail?

    No this is poor management from verizon at that location.BB have done all they can do their carrier ''partners'' either deliver well or deliver poorly.Where ever you are they obviously suck with the Q10 roll out.I will vary all over the place as well there's really nothing you can do cant waste time going across the world badgring so and so to deliver the product right.

    Sometimes I wonder if people understand this is the real world there's always liability's always.

    If you pre-order from premier retailers instead of a Verizon Corp you will not get it on launch day.
