While this thread kept being debated I went to the beach and had some fun. Nobody there, had the beach to myself, and a view of the Cheasapeake Bay Bridge.

So now that the App Gap is gone, whats the next complaint?-1456647_10151797117615735_337073676_n.jpg

Yes, we concluded that the app gap is closed. And we concluded that it is not closed. And we concluded that it is getting better because of the ability to directly install Android apps. And we concluded that the ability to directly install Android apps doesn't really improve the app gap.

And a good time was had by all.

I just find it shocking that BB10 supports Android 4.2.2. The shocking part is that BlackBerry 10 can support more Android apps than the vast majority of Android devices.

This a tough pill to swallow. It's the truth though.

Soon we will support and run Android apps better than nearly all Android devices. Testament to the power of BB10

You keep saying this same thing and over. I think you should try it for yourself before proclaiming how great it is. I think you will be mildly disappointed.

It's important to give credit to the power and prowess of the BB10 android Runtime. Especially spreading awareness of Android native code now being supported.

Like I said, try it first and get back to me.

Yes, we can load a larger quantity of apps now, but many crash instantly. Apps downloaded through bb world operate slower than before. Read some of the threads, I'm not making it up

It could be an issue with the source. I have side loaded apps from bb10bars.net that didn't work. However found the same apps from goodereader to work and vice versa

I hear this happens quite frequently on Android devices as well

Is that true? I don't know myself, never having owned an Android device but I have seen friends phones lagging on some things and smooth on others so I've sort of seen it.

What I can believe is that Android ports on BB10 are vastly improved, Ebay, as an example was hideous when it first came out and is an absolute pleasure now.

it is true . 50 % of Android devices aren't even on 4.0 . we are on 4.2.2
