I thought that it dies not matter because you have balance?

All you need to do is use vine on your own time....
Balance is something that can be implemented with BES, but it does not have to be implemented. The entire device can be locked down too. It depends on the corporate BES policy.

It's entirely possible that Kaiser Soze is the mastermind behind companies not making native BB10 apps.
Sunova!!! I knew it was him!

The stricter the policies are, the likelier it is for "Balance" to not even be enabled.

The app gap is certainly gone when a user can fill their own app gap. Many, many users of 10.2.1 are doing just this.

The app gap is gone for users who choose to close their app gap

Pretty impressive that 10.2.1 is bringing the ability to access hundreds of thousands of apps. Definitely a huge development

I chose to loose my app gap. Nothing would be better, and so I am running 10.2.1, but the app gap for me hasn't been closed due to inadequately / non functioning apps. Thats the truth. Just cos he app gap is gone doesn't mean others have. Also, thw android player takes ages to load sometimes.

I would have liked to see even a brief "while we continue to add great native apps to our growing library" or some such.

I'm lucky enough to have needs which has never ever left me with an "app gap". I need something with a budget manager, a calculator, an email client, a Web browser, a word processor, something to play music, a camera, a calendar, and a means to make calls. BlackBerry has had all of these things ever since I got my first one plus many other functionalities, so I'm good

Yes. It does everything I need so no need for a separate device. It gets used heavily for internet surfing, email, text, BBM, music from my microSD card, spreadsheets, picture taking and editing. It has been a great communications device/pocket pc.

How laggy is the browser? I found the Classic's browser to be laggy and that's a much newer phone.

I have not noticed any notable lag on a consistent basis and I use both my Verizon network and home WiFi.
