White is a better colour for the hub, I don't see the need of a dark hub.

Your opinion. Mine is that a dark hub is needed.

People are actually stating their opinions as facts? What's going on with people nowadays?

If YOU don't want to use bright Hub then don't.

If YOU don't want to use dark Hub then don't.

But the option you don't like or want should still be included for the people that do.

It's like if by default all the apps were dark themed, you would want an option for bright themes.

Exactly. And since Facebook and Twitter apps are made by BlackBerry too, I'd like dark options for those too. If you prefer white, leave it default in options, if you prefer dark, flip the option switch. These should be simple options for BlackBerry to implement.

Yes, dark twitter is awesome and I think it disappeared.

Totally agree. No one has argued to replace white hub with dark, we'd just like the option. I don't understand why anyone would argue against having the choice.

There is a dark themed twitter. But only available with the 10.3.1 update. Check your twitter and you will see it.

Unfortunately BlackBerry hasn't made 10.3.1 available to unlocked Z30 devices in the US yet from the looks of it. Will definitely use dark twitter though when available.

Options are good. And the battery benefits on the AMOLED phones would be worth it...

Let's wait and hope. Settings can be dark already, so HUB shouldn't HUrt too much. :-D

The amount of time it takes BlackBerry to code this would be so minimal, it's ridiculous how often it is requested and still not implemented. I've added the color scheme changer (like is available in the cb10 app btw) in less than 5 minutes to native apps I have developed.....

I really hope it comes back to the Q10. It was an advertised feature at launch for saving battery life. Not cool taking it away just because.

Dark hub actually saves up to 20% on amoled screens but even 8% on a low res LED screen.

They did test on whole Lumia line up look it up, 8% more battery is nothing to laugh at..

It's basically like extra 300mah on passport...

    REQUESTED.

If I could find some way to sign a bb10 os bar as BlackBerry I could easily implement myself. I have been able to do it in momentics but since I can't sign as BlackBerry can't load it over the necessary bars on my device.

I really want a dark hub.

I keep my brightness low, so it's not that the white background is blinding. It's just out of place in the general theme of the phone for those of us who take advantage of the dark theme wherever possible (BBM, Contacts, Calendar, SMS/MMS, CB10).

It's also one of the few main features of the phone, other than File Manager, Phone, Remember, and the Settings pages, that doesn't use a dark background. All the other built-in applications, like BBW, Calc, Clock, Maps, Pictures, etc., use a dark background.

Even some of the built-in third party apps are starting to come with the option to choose light or dark theme. Twitter, btw, is much better with a dark background. Sorry, Blaq.

If you really want dark hub, turn all themes that you want dark to white and then enable reverse contrast and that should do the trick. But that might make other things look worse.

Taking away options from consumers is never a good idea. Smh. BBRY is in no position to take away features. If they never had the dark theme, I understand. But to have it then remove, not very smart.

Well, with the two part-time interns and weekend janitor left working on BB10, you never know what they may toss in there at the last minute.

I mean, what will Chen do if they do add in a dark hub? Fire them? They will already be fired once 10.3.3 finally goes live.
