    If the driftwood is not another name for the onyx? Which one is it?

    If I'm not mistaken the driftwood is the 3G blackberry on T-mobile?? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I do believe they look alike though.

    I thought that driftwood is onyx for t-mobile. Will most likely be the same as AT&T but with UMA support.

    DRIFTWOOD=ONYX; ONYX=DRIFTWOOD. Driftwood=T-Mobile; Onyx=Att.

    Curious myself. Obviously they would have slightly different internal specifications because of At&t and T-Mobile's non-compatible 3G networks. My guess is that this is what accounts for the name difference

    As I've already posted elsewhere, latest info I got from tmo is that their first 3G BB will have a trackpad. There wasn't any doubt expressed.

    Very true - they definitely confirmed UMA support - YES! My tmo signal at home is marginal at best!

    The Onyx will be Blackberry 9xxx. Driftwood has the UMA support, which T-Mobile has and Onyx should have the UMA support, but I don't think that is true.

    The Driftwood will be a 9xxx-series BB because it will have 3G. The Driftwood will be an Onyx but with T-Mobile 3G instead of AT&T/Rogers 3G. The Driftwood is also supposed to have the optical trackpad.

    Yeah. I'm actually kind of hoping they DON'T do the trackpad. Although I've heard good things about the pads, I really want one with a trackball.

    no thanks. im over the trackball. sure, with my pearl it flashes tons of purdy colors, but i dont like to have to clean the trackball when gunk gets stuck.
