Sorry don't know if this is the right place to post this but is there a way to get a signature on the SMS messages? I looked in the options but couldn't find a way to post anything. Thanks.

    Welcomme....

    First check this out...

    http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/blac...e-series-4716/

    But here:

You can't. You can set up an AutoText entry, e.g. replace "xx" with the signature you want. You just have to type that sequence at the end of the message which is no big deal to most people. Besides, it's annoying (for me, anyway) when I get multiple SMS's that have the same signature, so this seems like a better solution if you have to do it!

    First....

Go to your option menu here.... and click Auto Text

Then you should be at this screen.

Then click the menu (flying d's button) and click "new"

so now you shou7ld be here at this screen.

Now under the "replace" section, write the letters sig

and under the "with" section, write your desired signautre

    then click menu and save!

Then when composing a sms text...simply write the letters.... sig and then hit space and your signature will automatically appear!

Hmmm...it's not working for me. It keeps saying "that phrase already exists." I can't imagine it already exists when I just learned how to do this. Any thoughts???

Scroll down the auto text phrases and see if you "sig" already exists. If it does, highlight it and click menu, and edit.... then just change the "with" section with your desired signature...picture coming soon....

Also you can add, or edit multiple auto text phrases in order to have multiple signatures...

Here we go..... if like the above mentioned post, you do happen to already have the "sig" phrase entered. Simply scroll down to it

    Hit, menu then edit....

And then just scroll down to the "with" section and delete the current replacement, with your own signature....

Then hit menu and save.... You can do this for mulitple ones as well to have a variety of signatures.....

Then when composing a new text....... simply enter the "sig"

    Then hit space....and viola!

Hope this clears it all up.

Just remember, a signature in an SMS counts against your 160 character limit.
