Ok really sorry about the title and this description - I cant think of how to explain what I mean here so bear with me.

When I send an SMS message and select a contact from the list it always prompts me for a second (or more) contact in the TO: field.

I can simply go past this and click ok.
99% of my messages are to 1 person and only a tiny few are to more than one person.

I know this is really stupid and not a big deal but can you stop this or change the default to not go to a new "To:" field.

    Does that make sense ?

Apologies if this is not the right place to post this or if it is a stupid question

I dont think from the sms screen you'll be able to do so. The only way i can think of is by selecting the contact then blackberry key-sms whoever.

Strange... if I'm reading your issue correctly, my Curve never does this.

I never had this problem on my 8330, but have recently upgraded to the Tour and have been very annoyed by this also. I will start typing my message and then realize that I am typing it into the 2nd TO: field.... I haven't figured out a way to stop this either. I am so used to my 8330 that it gets me EVERY time, I just start typing away and realize that I have to start over again...

I am glad it is not just me !!

I know it is not a huge issue - just slightly annoying.

Same here it is annoying. I have also typed my messages in the second TO: field or other times I choose my first contact and instead of scrolling to the OK button, I scroll a little too far and en up pressing the CANCEL button instead. Sucks.

Before I had the new 5.0 OS on my Storm I had this same issue. If I hit the "backspace key" it would go away and bring me to the message.

With the new OS you just need to hit OK.
