Just thought I'd share my concern with this application.
As wonderful as it is to have this application, I came to the conclusion that I could no longer have it as AT&T is blocking the GPS enabled system that SmrtGuard needs to track my device in case it gets lost or stolen. It's nice that it backs up all of my stuff, but it's also a liability when your application doesn't provide correct GPS coordinates. In my case, I am in DC. When I hit locate my BB, the GPS is signaling that my BB is in Baltimore, MD? Really? When the device is sitting right in front of me, located in DC. Not only is Baltimore 45 minutes away, but SmrtGuard fails to help locate accurately.
SmrtGuard is aware of the issue, and still continue to sell this product knowing this issue. Until then, I won't be using this application until this is resolved.
Just FYI for those who are thinking of getting it, it's best to wait until it actually works to find your BlackBerry. Or else, suffer the consequence of finding it 45 minutes away where the phone isn't even located.
Same here. I installed the free trial with the intention of buying it. Unfortunately, it's only accurate about 10% of the time. The strange part is that when I'm at home, it always locates me on a street corner about 2-miles away. The same spot EVERY time. The rest of the time it shows that I've bounced all over town, and I haven't even left my recliner. I have 3 other GPS mapping programs that all locate me within 3-feet of each other. This rules out my phone being the problem or poor satellite geometry. Oh well SmrtGuard, it looks like I'll pass on the purchase -at least until this issue is resolved.

I am also having the same problem! It shows that I have been running all over town (when I have NOT been out of the house) When I am located, it is the SAME EXACT street everytime....a few miles away I thought it was due to me NOT having blackberry maps installed, but I installed bb maps and still have the same problem I have sent an email to the developers regarding this annoying issue.
Now Google Maps finds my exact address EVERY time!!
