Hay guys I would like to know some other options for HDMI for my Passport. I looked at Bestbuy.ca and Future shop.ca for Slimport no hits. Could someone suggest a brand or option available at these locations.

Slimport doesn't seem to be a well established standard.

I had to return 2 Slimport adaptors until I found the right one.

I find that many places are using MHL interchangeably with Slimport, just because they look the same doesn't mean they are, this could be why you had to swap?

Unless you swapped for the exact same product and it worked the second time.

But the link you posted seems like the one most are picking up and not having any issues.

Thanks. I was looking for something for a BlackBerry Classic....i may try this, though I was looking for SlimPort to MicroHDMI (so I can use my Q10/Z30 cables)

I don't know about Future Shop, but the Canada Computers across the street from Future Shop has a Slimport to HDMI and USB adapter. It's a StarTech. You can watch video and charge at the same time.
