so do guys think we would be able to play facebook apps with skyfire since it supports flash?
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!! Lol
I hope so! Haha man that would be awesome!
Well how bout any updates anyone? Its almost November and still haven't head anything from them

As I remember it, Skyfire didnt support flash, it just rendered it in a format that could be seen. Skyfire is going to be a second thought when RIM releases the new flash enabled browser next year.
Well someone release it already.

I know right! The (very) short time I used a WinMo 6.1 phone I used Skyfire and it was great! Bolt Browser isn't too far off but not quite the same...

how upsetting. i've done soooo much searching and what not to atleast get some information and still nothing. =/ i even emailed them about it, they never replied lol
well i hope soon we get some info on how its going.
I think I read somewhere that they completly terminated the project because of the leak. :/

they absolutely did not terminate anything, they just blocked access for alpha releases for a temporary timeframe...
Ooh sorry for the misinformation. Could have sworn someone said the project was terminated. Well that certainly is good news!! :)

I've just about given up on seeing skyfire for bb. Had high hoped for it. Maybe RIM will get its act together with this new browser they are supposedly developing.

I just listened to a Podcast with Raj Singh from Skyfire where he says that the Blackberry platform is challenging and is still a work in progress. And they should hopefully have some anouncements in the NEW YEAR!!! Guess that means they are going WAY over the end of summer anouncement.

RIM better get on the ball with their new browser, because as far as I'm conerned this is the one area where the droid destroy's BB. I'll never give up my bb, but want all the droid fanboy's to shutup.
As I said before, I'd love to see the SkyFire Browser come out for BB as well. I know it's great, I've played with it on Windows Mobile. But for it to have all the same functionality, there's a lot of little things to work out I'm sure. As for all this complaining, unless you have an older generation BlackBerry, between Bolt and BlackBerry's native browser, you can do most everything. I'm patiently waiting for SkyFire because I know that when they do finally release it, it's going to be great!!
