    Yep, I’m writing about those tiny little plastic and metal things in your phone. Did you ever give them any thought? Well I didn't either until a writer I am following wrote a couple articles about them. Apparently SIM cards can play a significant part in saving money and being eco-friendly.     This isn't really about the SIM itself, it's more about services. And it's not applicable to the US market due to differences in service. (GSM,CDMA, etc.)

    You could continue to use your current phone and be "green" regardless of the method used to validate it on the network. Sounds like just another sales pitch to me.
