    Hi Everyone,

    i was watching a video about the curve 9350 for sprint. Why is there a sim card in the curve 9350 ?? The curve 8530 does not have one. Can anyone tell me why this is so ? thank you

    It's becuase the 9530 is HSDPA and CDMA/EV-DO. The 8530 is CDMA/EV-DO only.

    Definitly.
    It means you can use it as a world phone.
    (as in you can take it to europe and buy a prepaid simcard and use it.)

    My Storm2 (CDMA) came with one. It's not needed to operate in the US, but if I was to travel to Europe, I'd have to put the SIM back in and use it so I could use it as a GSM phone or buy a pre-paid SIM from a European carrier and unlock my phone beforehand. I took my SIM out of my S2 and put it up with the charger adapters for other countries. I won't ever need it as I don't even own a passport.
