    Why does my Pearl have a video icon if I can't record video? And can I get the trackball color app sent directly to my phone? I don't have internet/usb/etc on mine-just the basic phone and text..Thanks for your help!

    Where does it have a video icon? Its probobly your "media" folder

    And search for colorpearl ota see if it comes up. Or whatever the program is called for the colored leds

    You would need a data plan to have it sent to your phone, unless you don't mind paying for the data.

    You can watch video, not record. That icon takes you to your videos folder. And no, without a data plan or a computer, you couldn't install any apps on your Pearl. Sorry for the bad news.

    the 8100 was never able to record video im pretty sure

    and to the poster above you have an 8130 thats different then the 8100 in the way features work

    First, that is a violation of our terms of service, you can not ask for third party software in the forums.

    Second, for technical reasons, It can not be done. SMS Text is limited to 160 of Text only.

    Without a BIS data plan, your Pearl is voice and SMS only.
