Spent nearly an hour on the phone with RIM Tuesday, as slowly they admitted there was a problem. First no, then it was a small localized one, then bigger and bigger. Told them it was well known on CrackBerry, to which they said they aren't affiliated. Doh! I suggested they start looking, so they can be up to speed on their own outages. Knowledge is half the battle.

I can say I did, even though they say that non WiFi wasn't affected with this last one. I had a lot of failed deliveries. Not as bad as the last outage though.
I only had one outage recently and that's the one they announced. I use WIFI a lot and haven't lost it at all in the last "allegedly" reported outages. Do I believe some people had problems yes but if you check the forums people report BIS outages daily. Some of it is unfortunately users not knowing what's going on and some is carrier problems.
They should have sent a message to ALL Blackberry users to notify them that some users may have connectivity problems. Of course, the people affected probably wouldn't have gotten it...

Which would only serve to incite those completely unaffected by the outage and unnecessarily ding RIM's image.
