BlackBerry needs to work on getting all the apps we sideload to be native apps. yeah its great we can still have them on our z10/q10 but it's still a hassle to sideload it. people who are new to BlackBerry probably won't even know about sideloading and they'll be very disappointed that their favorite apps are missing. it's seems like the blackberry users are doing more work than BlackBerry itself to get the developers to consider making native apps. we've been waiting months for apps such as Instagram, Netflix, etc.. for reasons like that, people will convince others not to get the BlackBerry phones. that's where BlackBerry is messing up.

Yes you're right on the first part.
Sideloading is too much of a hassle for the average user. Heck, it's too much of a hassle for me, and I probably don't count as "average user."

We just can't know how much BBRY does to try and get the big-name apps to bring official BB10 versions. Hopefully a lot, and I believe it.

Better marketing to increase demand is what we need to see, so the app devs are hearing from others besides BBRY staffers.

Agree that without sideloaded apps that we would be lost and the app experience on the PlayBook and BB10 devices would be very limited for 1st tier apps and nonexistent for 2nd tier apps.

Also agree that for the average user sideloading is a us less option. If anything it will drive some to just get an Android device.
