When I wear a holster (only have for a week in my life I have) I wear it on my left side even though I'm right handed. If I put it in my pocket (all the time) I put it in my right pocket. I put it in the holster on my left side because it is better to grab it with my left hand since I will be doing things with my right, but if it is in my pocket it makes no sense.

Right side since I place my bluetooth headset in my right ear and keeping both on the same side improves the reception.

Left side. I'm right handed but I find myself using it my left hand more often. I always have keys in my right side (cause the ignition is on that side) and I never have other items in the same pocket as my berry (ESPECIALLY not sharp metal objects). Also, all the desks at school have the bar on the right side which makes removing anything from my right pocket awkward and obvious. Most people I know carry their phones on the right but I've always been a lefty.
