I stopped carrying my Q10 with a case because I put the silver bezel around it to get the look of the Bold. Needless to say, I've dinged and scratched my phone quite a bit.

I actually like when the phone has a few scars. It reminds me of an old wallet, an old briefcase, stuff like that. I feel it has character.

So I show off my Q10 and all it's battle scars and how it still works diligently and faithfully serving it's owner.

Anyone with me on this?

Wow. That poor screen, lol...
After smashing my Note Pro on the bathroom tiles, which caused the screen to shatter completely, I am now babying my devices to the point of utter silliness.
I mean "don't even look at my screen the wrong way or I will cut you" type of attitude, lol.
So my Q10, although only in a silicone sleeve, is treated like the future messiah, I kid you not.
I got it for free with a 2 year contract, I never expected to fall in love with it like I did, but it is the one device that hasn't had any hiccups, issues, it keeps on performing like a stallion on viagra, and I intend to keep it that way.
... I'm telling you, if anything happens to it, I'll probably go on a postal rampage and be found weeks later hidden in a cave rocking back and forth and mumbling in tongues, lol.
And so far, it looks brand new like I just took it out of the box. *beams*

Totally with you OP! A phone that looks like an ammunition box of WW2 is kinda sexy. What's too much on the other hand for my taste is when the housing deforms and dents....like let's say.....an iPhone.

I have a case on all my phones. I don't like to see any dings. That being said I also drop my phones quite a bit lol - sooo I NEED the cases
