My q10 got bad and I am planning to buy 9900 bold, I cannot buy classic or passport because I don't have funds, is BlackBerry still giving updates for bb7 os, is there any development for 9900 phones, or they just don't worry for their 9900 bold users , should I go back to use 9900 , will it be a worth ?

people still use the 9900 so if you have one you can certainly use it. What do you mean by my Q10 got bad? you are missing out on a world of benefits by not having OS10

You would be better off with a Q5, it is excellent and inexpensive. 9900 apart from being obsolete had a poor camera and poor battery life. Q5 does not doubletype either.

+1 on the Q5. A couple of colleagues happy with it and have never had any DT or build quality issues with it. I've seen it offered for under $100 brand new from some carriers in Canada. Don't go back to BB7, it's truly dead.

If you had a 9900 (said go back) and know the difference and can live with that... it should be fine.

Development? NO Maintenance?... maybe - like fixing the vulnerabilities in the browsers that the recently release hackinggroup files indicated.

But for me personally, just the difference between having LTE and 3G is a wold of difference. I'd go with a cheap Android over the 9900 if price is the issue.
But I'd check with my Carrier and see if there is a difference in the pricing of the plan for a 9900... at one time it was cheaper to have a BIS plan, now in many markets it has gotten more expensive.

I would just get a Q5, at least it works with the majority of android apps that I use everyday. However, it just feel too plastic.
