I've just recently decided that maybe it's time to upgrade from my trusty old 9800. I'm considering the Q10 and Z10 and plan on ordering them from ca.shopblackberry.com. But I was just wondering, (living in Canada), if I will have to pay customs fees (duty) or anything of the sort? Have never really ordered anything from the site before.

generally you don't have to pay duties for localized websites, and even international ones that ship to Canada include it with the shipping fees.

Personally I'm saving up for a white Z30 that I'll get through Shopblackberry

okay just checked it.. you need to order from the american website and ship to an adress in the states... the coupon code is BLACKBERRY1 ... so hopefully u know someone there that can forward it to you or use a forwarding service.

As pointed out by bbry's own press release the coupon you speak of doesn't work for z30 only older models

There are no duty charges on phones that run on cellular networks.

No there isn't a coupon for Canada, but Telus is selling it for $199. It's at BestBuy and FutureShop but currently are sold out at both

Like xStevenLe, I am looking at a purchase from ca.shopblackberry.com. In my case I was looking at the Z30. Here is a clip of the web page.





It shows that the Z30 costs $499.00 along with $21.71 for International Express shipping to Canada.

I have two questions for anyone in Canada that has used this store to purchase a phone:

• Is this in CAN$ or US$

• Are the credit card costs handled through the US thereby incurring the additional 2% processing fee.

By the way do you think there is a long line of people waiting for the $1990 Z30.
