Unless there have been edits to the OP or the Thread title, I don't see any mention of the BerryLeaks Team until later in the thread. I remember this handy little phrase about what happens when we ASSUME things.

For those who don't frequent the Leaked OS subforum, anything released by the Team is done in a rather organized fashion and we clearly identify ourselves when posting.

Just to be clear, no one on the Team had anything to do with the leaked apk.

The thread title originally read "Shame on the leaks team ...". It apparently was subsequently changed to read "Shame on the leaker ....".

A) Wasn't the person's fault. I'm glad despite the bull**** that happened, that it did get leaked. Shows corporate masters can't control everything (row row, fight the powah!)

B) Even if it was his fault, BlackBerry should have been prepared and they knew about this. They weren't, and it bit them in the ***.

Op you do realize that the leak was the final version of BBM and that it was leaked by Blackberry? Do you also realize that it was bug ridden and not ready to be launched? There was no leak that caused problems for the BBM being officially launched. Kevin and Co. covered it in the podcast and said that Blackberry F-ed it up and had to pull it because neither app was ready to be released. It didn't have anything to do with a leak and this is an excuse being used by BB to cover up for the app not being ready.
