It's not a BlackBerry.... but he did give the Titan Pocket a spot.

@Bla1ze might need more information and pictures....

    - Still not clear about the attachment and if there are any limits.. Few more pictures would help and even a partial list of tested phones. Start with today line of iPhones and Samsung's.

    - Show it in action... typing.

    - Side and rear images with a phone in the "holder".

I would suggest getting a pre-production unit in Adam @ Tech Odyssey's hand. He's getting a nice following on YouTube.

    Thanks for your questions:

The device is pretty much universal. We have tested it on phones as big as a Note 10+ and as small as the iPhone SE, all of which work with the TYPE I.

We will have the images of it in action and side/back images in time

Indiegogo page clearly states that a working demo has not yet been produced.

The TYPE I wraps around the phone. The silicone bumper extends to wrap around the sides of the phone. There will be holes on top and bottom to make sure microphones, SIM cards, charging ports, headphone ports, etc are still accessible.

    Ouch on the shipping....
Shipping in the US uses USPS Priority Mail shipping, meaning the product will be there within 1-3 days of the mailing date, thus the higher price.

It's hard to tell from the images you have posted because they are renders, but do the phones have that big black square around them when they are attached?

I will be supporting this for sure. I'm sure everyone here appreciates you putting in the effort to make this happen. However, it really would help to see the real life photos - assuming you have them? - so we can see what it really looks like.

    Great job!

The "big black square" is made of silicone and will not have as sharp of corners and will be a lot thinner than it looks now and will surround the smartphone when attached.

I made a prototype earlier as a demo to show manufacturers but it was very poorly put together (keyboard didn't work, held together with tape, etc). I'll see if I can make a cleaner version that I can show

Hey SES, those two screws on the back: Will they hurt when having the phone with the attached slider in the pocket?

While I have already backed, I agree with the others that a working demo certainly will create more confidence and clarity

How does it adapt to differently-sized phones?

That would be helpful. Is the back camera(s) on the phone generally still usable? How much does the whole unit weigh and how much of that weight is in the bottom (Just to get a sense for how it will feel in hand)

Thanks! and congrats on getting this started.

The screws (From my experience in testing), have not hurt when it's been in my pocket when the screws are facing toward me but I also found it to feel more confortable to have the screws/keyboard facing out with the screen against my legs.

We will be working to get a demo in due time.

    Thanks for your questions!

    - It depends on the phone and where the cameras are located. I have found that phones with center cameras (S10, Note 10, etc) have no problems, and have yet to test a phone that has issues with the TYPE I (partially due to there being tons of phones to test out and new phone designs coming out every few months). The slider can be adjusted using the screws to make sure the slider is not in the way of the camera.
    - The whole unit is around 4.5 ounces
    - Half of that weight is in the keyboard, the slider and silicone are disbursed pretty evenly around the phone and it doesn't feel that unbalanced from the phones I have used in testing.

Let me know if you have any more questions
