My 8900 was probably the most solid feeling device i've ever owned. Trackball and all.
The 8900 was more of a 2g bold rather than a curve though really.

Who are they going to try and market that phone to?
People that want to step up to bb10, but want to save a bit of money compared with a q10, this device is going to sell great in countries where there is a thriving payg market or where the carriers offer cheaper phones on cheaper tariffs. It clearly isn't intended for the american market where everything is mostly either $100 or $200 and the monthly tariffs do not change.

It does have a funky 80's look. My biggest issue would be the screen size. I am too used to my 4.2 inch screen on my Z10. I don't think I could ever go back to a device with a smaller screen.

Looks like the device Android was going to be, before the iPhone launched and Google shifted gears to copy. I'm sure there's a market for it somewhere.

Yes, this new curve price possibly will be around USD 300-400 at the first launching, but it will be around USD 250-300 after it mature on the market.

That phone is one fug ugly device since the Cha-cha. Give me the sleek, premium feel of a Bold 9930 any day.

If it is the curve you should also expect it to come in a lot of colours too

I like the looks of this new retro 80s Curve! Looks better than the Q10 to me. I'm still getting my Z10, but maybe as a secondary line this will do nicely.
