Long story short I work for a very competitve marketing firm. I have been looking into a couple other companies (competitors).
I was using my BB web browser instead of my work PC because I know they track the PC.
I just did some reading at seems I could be in some trouble.
I was using internet browser not blackberry browser.
Can they track internet browser through BES?
If so I know for sure I am toast. The worst part is I don't think I would actually move.

Here is a good explanation of what a BES admin can see.
Time to load Opera Mini and do some surfing. Just be sure to set it to SOCKS for the connection so it'll use the carrier's gateway.

But how do you know they aren't? I think that's the fundamental issue: the possibility that they are monitoring a large majority of your internet activity...
If you have to be concerned about it, you probably shouldn't be doing it on your work BB or computer -- save it for at home
This isn't an issue on any other smartphone platform, and companies don't usually look at everything. They have filters and such to try to catch suspicious activity (people going to Monster.com/Careerbuilder, porn sites via keyword, etc.).
Sure, I understand that part. I was just surprised the op was so sure he was "cooked" just because they have the capability.

I hope they aren't monitoring it. I have no way of knowing for sure. If they are monitoring it I am sure this is what they would eb looking for. I would be better off looking at porn. I don't think they would even care. If they are monitoring looking for another job will get me cooked for sure.
As I read the form they can't monitor Internet browser only Blackberry Browser. That is why so many BES phones disable everything but Blackberry browser. I was using internet browser.
It sure would give me peace of mind if someone confirmed that.
